A type of window that is hinged either on the right or left side of the frame that opens outward with a turn of a crank handle.

• They are very ideal for places that are hard to reach. Unlike other windows that slides up and down when needed to be opened, this one uses a crank for opening.

Cons

Double Hung Windows

Very common in residential construction. It consists of two sashes that move up and down.
